"Walking inside the cafe you’ll immediately experience a tranquil atmosphere provided by the surrounding trees, open green space, and bustling plants. The seating area is cozy and underneath a covering which provides shade and makes it feel peaceful. The cafe employs deaf personnel but it was very easy to communicate to our servers without knowing sign language. The food was amazing! I ordered breakfast and had Cassava pancakes. They were 10/10, definitely recommend to try! Overall it was a wonderful experience, the service was excellent, and it was a refreshing escape!"

"Very interesting place wasn’t expecting what we saw. They employ Hearing Impaired people and do a great job. The staff were very friendly and did a good job. The food was good and portions were spot on. If you are in the area pass by, just don’t follow google maps as the entrance on the main (James Gichuru) road and not on Naushad road."

"I didn’t enjoy the food at all. The Swahili curry was nearly flavorless … well there’s a turtle and bunnies on property and I like to support businesses that employ diverse employees… but we both didn’t like our meals"

"It’s one of my favourite places in Nairobi. The staff are so kind and friendly. They used to have some sign language classes and im not sure if they are still doing them but I really loved those too."

"Walter, one of the hosts, really makes this café spectacular with his charismatic and entertaining personality! The majority of the servers are deaf and the artsy atmosphere amongst nature make this a truly special and unique cafe. The smoothies are my favourite! Lots of seating and a great place to come solo, with family, to work, or with friends. All are welcome and made to feel comfortable & at home. I will return here every time I am in Nairobi! :)"
