While my overall experience with the food was satisfactory, with nothing particularly extraordinary that stood out, it certainly met my expectations for a decent meal. However, one aspect that truly left an impression was the restaurant's atmosphere. The décor is nothing short of impressive, featuring stunning sculptures and intriguing artistic elements that create an inviting and visually captivating space. "The service and atmosphere especially in the outdoor sitting was really good and was really calming experience in Nairobi. I can’t thank enough Anita for her hospitality at Meko as well. Made the experience much better and her suggestions as well!"

"Meko should be on every foodie's list. I promise the hype is real. The food was amazing. We had a taste of every starter on the menu and each one was so good! Their calamari is definitely the best I've tasted so far. The main course was so filling, most of us had trouble clearing our plates. It gets quite chilly by the pool, so while the view is amazing, it's safer to sit inside especially in the evening. The service was great. We felt a bit rushed in the beginning because items would be cleared from the table before we were done, but once the staff realized we were not in a hurry, they slowed things down. All in all, a worthwhile culinary experience."

"Really lovely setting by the pool, especially at night when smoke comes from the pool and flickering lights on the bottom of the pool. However the food should be 5 star but it's not. The lamb burger was very nice but the lamb steak was so tough it had to be sent back. The lamb kebabs were so small they should only be on the starter menu. Really should be better to match the beautiful hotel and surroundings"
