"I had a wonderful dinner at Matteo's. The food was rich in flavor and clearly made with care. I loved the natural, relaxed setting it made the experience even more enjoyable. Plenty of parking made it convenient and the staff were incredibly helpful and kind. I even forgot my purse and they safely kept it for me. I got it back intact the next day. Truly impressive service. Highly recommend."

"Matteo’s is the gift that keeps on giving. I am always in awe of how consistent they have been over the years. I have been eating the mushroom pasta for the last 5 years and the flavour has been consistent throughout the years. Matteo’s food is like a warm hug after a long hard day. This time round I decided to try something new - the calamari. Unfortunately, it tasted burnt and a little dated. Despite Matteo’s great food, I have always found their dessert menu to be a little lackluster compared to the robust flavours in their hot food. Hopefully, they can fix this. This time round I had the vanilla icecream but it was quite icey and wasn’t as smooth. That notwithstanding, Matteo’s remains one of my favourite restaurants in Nairobi. It is a great place for lunch and dinner and for special occasions. The fairy lights give the place such a cute touch in the evenings. The ambience is relaxed but a little “dressy” too. Love love this place! Highly recommend. 9/10!"

"Matteo’s is one of the top authentic Italian restaurants in Nairobi. Amazing food and drinks. Relaxing and family friendly atmosphere perfect for a Sunday afternoon. My go to is always the risotto and pizza to start with not to mention the perfect Aperol Spritz to start. I recommend making reservations if you want to get a table immediately you get there as it’s quite popular."

"A peaceful garden escape! The outdoor seating is surrounded by beautiful greenery and flowers, creating such a calm and inviting atmosphere. The weather was perfect, making it an ideal spot to enjoy a meal outside. We ordered quite a few dishes, and every single one was delicious — fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The overall experience was wonderful, from the setting to the service. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back!"
