"Went here on a stormy evening and it somehow made the whole experience even better. We started outside with great cocktails, then when it began raining we moved inside and the vibe instantly became warm and cozy. As a vegetarian I tried the cauliflower steak and the plantains, both excellent and surprisingly flavorful. Great food, great service, and one of those places that feels perfect for a long conversation with a friend."

"I discovered this place on TikTok and decided to check it out. It was a bit hard to find at first since the sign is somewhat hidden, but once we arrived, someone near the gate noticed we were looking for the entrance and helped point us in the right direction, which was appreciated. The space has a nice vibe with both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor area is especially cute and well done. As for the food, it personally was not my favorite. I would rate it about a 3 out of 5 in terms of taste, though it could have just been the dish I ordered. I would be open to coming back to try something else. The service, however, was excellent. The staff was very accommodating and welcoming. We went close to New Year’s, and they took the time to tell us about upcoming events, including times when they have a DJ. That could definitely make for a more fun and lively experience for anyone interested."

"Stunning bar. art, tree centerpiece, and outdoor seating are 10/10. Food? Eh. The dips and pita were a miss (especially the pita). The Moroccan lamb burger was smaller than expected and the meat-to-bun ratio was off. Shoestring fries felt more like potato sticks, and the Berber seasoning on the wings didn’t work for me. Plantains were done right though 👌🏽 Amazing spot for drinks and vibes, but the food needs work to match the setting."

"The food was amazing.......though I’m not the biggest lamb fan, so the burger felt a touch overwhelming for me. But the corn ribs were so delicious I’d go back for those alone. The drinks were stellar, the eggnog lived up to every hope, and the mocktail was just as good. What really stood out was the staff....extra friendly and genuinely enthusiastic. They hooked us up with a sample of mitmita (an Ethiopian spice blend) and pointed us to a cool store that sells moka pots, because yes.......that coffee was so good we immediately needed our own pot to brew it at home."

"The place is a stylish, pan-African fusion restaurant tucked away in Maua Close in Westlands, Nairobi. As you step through its decorative metal gate you enter a space that blends an artsy, cozy indoor lounge complete with a fireplace for cooler evenings with a courtyard style garden and outdoor seating under soft lighting and leafy vines. The environment mixes modern and vintage décor, offering a relaxed but refined atmosphere ideal for dinners, cocktails, or intimate gatherings. The menu draws on African and fusion influences across the continent, with dishes ranging from corn ribs, grilled meats, vegetarian-friendly plates (like cauliflower steak or vegan options), to more eclectic mains and desserts. There’s also a full bar with cocktails, drinks, wines and non-alcoholic options the food and drinks aim to reflect Nairobi’s diverse culinary influences. The dining experience balances quality and creativity, and the restaurant operates at a moderate to premium price point. #EatOutApproved"
