"Went here on a Sunday afternoon and the place was surprisingly empty, which actually made for a really peaceful experience. The setting is beautiful with lots of trees and outdoor seating that gives it a relaxed local Kenyan vibe. I tried the boiled sweet potatoes and lentils with chapati, while my friend had the chicken biryani, the food overall was very good and comforting. We also had a glass of wine and just enjoyed sitting there for a while. It’s definitely more expensive than typical local spots serving similar food, but the atmosphere makes it a pleasant place to spend a slow afternoon."

"Incredible East African food experience. Good food, exceptional service. Getrude, our server, was helpful, sweet, and fun. The owner, Pamela, was so welcoming and warm. A must visit when you are in town."

"Likely a good spot for tourists who want a good way to try traditional Kenyan food. We had the Tilapia with coconut sauce, Kunde curry, and beef stew. Everything was fantastic with great flavor and accompaniments such as ugali and chapati. Will come again for sure. Would recommend."

"Having lived in Africa for more than a decade now I honestly found the restaurant expensive for the quality of the food. Local traditional African food is usually good especially because it's good value for money but it's not the case here. On top of that food isn't very tasty, rice wasn't well cooked and it took more than 40 minutes to get the food even though we were the only people in the restaurant... I wouldn't recommend it unfortunately. That being said my 2 friends who had just arrived in Kenya from France liked their food (the tilapia and the chicken in sauce with bananas). Not my opinion as a resident though."
